Sick

It has already past 3 days but Edward is still having fever.

I dun know why, although he is already 12 (physically look like 16) but I still very worried whenever he falls sick. I will not sleep through the night and will sneak into his room and touch his forehead. I will make sure no fever in the middle of the night. This reminds me when he is only 3 years old, and whenever he is sick, I will stay through the night and sponge him with wet towel. I remembered there is a night when he was having high fever, I even get ready a bag and prepared to send him to hospital at 3am…..can’t imagine if I need to go through the same cycle again….please….no more………

He has suffered crop when he is 4 and we accompanied him to zzzzz at SGH for 3 days. When the nurse bathe him with cold water inside the room, I can hear his loud cry, he did not know his mum is also crying outside the room too….

I finally realized no matter how old Edward is, I will still worry for him. Guess this will protract until I decided to give up my breaths.

Seeing him suffering by ulcer pain and sore throat and dun even able to eat porridge make me feel heartache. How I wish the one who is sick and suffering is not him but me.

His fever is coming back again and the medicine is finishing soon.
Haiz…..Guess I have to take another day off to look after him tomorrow….
